I shot this time-lapse on the Shelter Island next to the San Diego Bay. It was super moon - lunar eclipse - mid-autumn festival, so unique that there were probably more than one hundred tripods on the waterfront.
The time-lapse was captured by Sony a7R with Canon 70-200 f2.8 II IS lens. it is five second interval, auto-exposure. The first part of the Sunset and Moonrise at 200mm. When the Moon rises for the second part, I switched to 200mm and continue shooting until the Moon reaches the full eclipse (not yet maximum eclipse). This is the first time I create a time-lapse so still have a lot to learn.
The background music was created an artist called Seraphus. He has some nice tracks which are perfect for time-lapse. Here is his profile on soundcloud. Thank you Seraphus for letting me using your music :-)
